I am a Research Assistant working in the entomology subdivision of the Pest and Pathogen Ecology (PPE) department. I have worked on a wide range of projects focused on research and development for integrated pest management on a variety of fruit crops . To date, I have focused on understanding and developing methods for managing spotted wing drosophila (SWD) in the UK. I am particularly interested in developing ways in which the latest research and technologies can be utilised to develop management systems in which pests can be controlled below damaging threshold levels, on farms.
