Research Interests

The PhD research focuses on analysing the effect of climatic factors on the survival, reproduction, dispersion and efficacy of the two commercially available biocontrol agents Serenade  (B. subtilis QST 713) and PreStop (G. catenulatum J1446) on lettuce and strawberry crops against B. cinerea the causal agent of grey mould. The research ultimately aims to improve the consistency and efficacy of each BCA. The findings will contribute towards forming models for application strategies.
