Research Interests

Using tomato as the model system for fruit biology. Plant genome sequencing. Plant dwarfism and plant steroid hormones (Brassinosteroids). The epidermal layer and layer specific gene expression. Using novel grafts to understand root shoot communication and the impact on plant architecture. Fruit yield and quality.
